Where I've been Hiding: A Year in Review and Looking Ahead

2017 was a great year in my photography business. I started to focus in on doing the work that I really love doing. I had a full schedule, had the opportunity to meet and work with some amazing families. Everything was great and I was so excited to be turning my focus to another successful photography year in 2018. But as so often happens, life ended up being very different than what I’d originally planned, but in the best possible way.

As 2017 was drawing to a close, I was in a relationship with a truly amazing guy that was starting to get serious. Things were great, we were happy, smitten and planning a future together. Mr.-Tall-Dark-and-Handsome proposed in January 2018, and after a few months of planning we tied the knot late in the summer.

The whirlwind of preparing for a wedding and married life, very quickly changed my entire focus. Photography went to the back burner for the year.

Now life is settling down into a new routine. Being married is amazing. I mean really AMAZING. It’s brought a lot of changes into my life; moving to Boston, an entirely different lifestyle and an exciting new focus.

With 2019 just around the corner, I’m excited to be looking ahead about what’s in store for the next year. It’s time to pull out the camera again and start diving into work again with so many new possibilities.

Now that I’m based in Boston, I’m looking forward to expanding my photography here in the city, which is very exciting to think about all of the potential locations for families down here. I will also continue to work in New Hampshire, so I won’t be staying away from my old haunts for very long.

In addition to gaining new territory, I’m very excited to be thinking about ways that I can be improving and adding to my services. I have a lot of great new session ideas, and products that I’m lining up for this coming year. If you’re interested in hearing more, I’d love to have you connect with me on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with all the happenings.

As this year comes to a close, I’d like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas Season and New Year full of joy and many new memories with loved ones.
